The Import Wizard allows you to import test cases which were exported previously out of the ETL Validator. You use the Import Wizard when you wish to move the test cases from one environment to another, for example QA to Production or from one computer to another.
To import test cases,
Navigate to Utilities > Import Wizard. The Import Wizard opens with the Start page displayed.
You can also launch Import Wizard by right-clicking on the Test Cases root node and selecting Import in the Test Cases view.
In the Start page, browse and select the import file, and then click Next.
In the Test Cases page, you will observe the test cases on the left-hand side of the screen. Expand the tree and drag and drop the test cases to the right side of the screen. Drag and drop all the test cases you wish to select and click Next.
In the Connections page, map the connections of the test case(s) with the connection in repository. Click Next to continue.
In the Test Folders page, select the test suite and test folder where the newly imported test case(s) will be created. If you do not want the newly test cases to be created under an existing test suite and test folder, create a new test suite / test folder. Click Next to continue.
In the Import page, review the test case import details and click Import. Allow sufficient time for the import process complete.
Once the import process is complete, you can locate the test case under the test folder selected/created during the import process.
