A repository in a BI Validator is used for storing the meta-data information of Test Plans, Connections, and other objects. You can use either an Oracle 11g/12c or PostgreSQL 10.3 database as a repository. By default, the BI Validator Client comes with an embedded postgres repository called 'PostgresLocal'. For a multi-user environment, Oracle repository can be used.
A user logging in to BI Validator requires the selection of a correct repository. If not, the user requires to add or connect to a correct repository before logs in to BI Validator.
